Love God, Love Others: Week 3

This is week three of our challenges to live out the command of Jesus to love God and love others. Last week, Ronnie spoke on the call for God’s people to lay aside their pride and entitlement, and look outwardly for opportunities to serve others. This week, our challenge is one small way that we can begin doing that.

There are currently 27 million people around the world who live as slaves. An unbelievable and horrifying figure. The A21 Campaign works to bring about an end to this situation. Today, LZ7 and Matt Redman have released a single aimed at raising awareness of this situation, to move the world into action.

This week, as an individual member of Firwood Church, you can play a small part in this campaign by purchasing the single to raise awareness of the issue. It’s a small step, and it is by no means all the Church should be doing- but it is an important step.

So download the song from iTunes or Amazon, or other digital retailers. At less than one pound this is an easy, though important task for us all at Firwood this week!
