What Are You Singing? – In Tenderness

Three gazillion years ago,we published the first of a series of images aimed at helping the Church to think deeply about the words it sings in worship. At long last, the wait for the second is over!

We’ve recently been enjoying Citizens‘ self titled album here at Firwood, and we’ve brought the most excellent ‘In Tenderness’ into our corporate worship. You can catch the video for the song at the bottom of this post.

Once again, I’d like to encourage you to spend some time reading over the words of this song and the references given, noting the eternal truths we speak out together when we sing.

Let us love God with all our heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37).
