Finishing Well

Ronnie Evans takes us back to the desert after the people of Israel have been led out of Egypt in the presence of the miraculous, only to lose faith in the promises that were to given to them. Reading from Hebrews, he shows how the church today is in the wilderness, not yet in the promised land. Strong in belief, but lacking in faith for the promises of God, cowed when confronted with giants. Without faith, the church cannot survive the drought, so the brethren should continue to encourage one another and build each other up rather than rebel, in fear, against the work of the Lord. Instead, we should keep our eyes turned towards heaven, fixed on the prize, as we run the race together in faith. It’s not how we start the race that matters, but that we finish well.
